An Innovative Way to Take Care of Your Skin | Blend and Boost

I’m always on the lookout for better ways to take care of myself, whether it’s through personal care or fitness, because if I can be at my best, I can help others around me do the same. As most of you know, I’ve been placing a stronger emphasis on skin care for men in the past 2 years because it’s generally overlooked – and honestly, it’s not a complicated concept.

During the winter months, our skin is constantly exposed to harsh conditions. Whether we choose to accept that or not, it’s still happening. You can simply do a lot for yourself by carrying out simple skin care maintenance daily with a moisturizer for preventative care – it doesn’t take much.

We make excuses for ourselves saying that certain products don’t do much or simply have too many chemicals, but it’s imperative to take some time and find yourself a suitable product that is made up of natural ingredients and right for you (and trust me, you’ll thank yourself later as the years go by, even if you break a bit of bank). The best way to do so is honestly by trial and error, and seeing what works and what doesn’t.

There is a more simplified solution that I came across a few months ago – and I think it’s super cool and innovative. It works for any concern, ranging from wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage, redness and more. Meet Blend and Boost.

Sometimes when it comes to improving skin care, one size does not fit all. And that’s normal. You might go through a plethora of products and realize that nothing works. What’s cool about Blend and Boost is that a team of professionals craft a product just right for you, based on an in-depth skin analysis with a healthcare practitioner (you can see the places that offer it here). Unlike traditional, mass-produced skin care, the blend that is right for you will be prepared at a pharmacy within 48 hours with the freshest ingredients (no parabens, fragrances, or gluten).

My personal experience has been great thus far – and I recommend it for anyone willing to take the next step in their skin care regime. The unscented and neutral nature of the products took a little a bit of time for me to get used to initially, but it’s really not much of a concern overall.

Before we end off, I wanted to share the one that worked best for me. My personal favourite is the 1-7 blend, which is a hydrating, deep penetrating and collagen-boosting combination. It’s a moisturizing cream base (perfect for dry skin in the cold) that helps soften dehydrated skin. It also contains Aqua-Osmoline, a multi-active skin moisturizer that helps seal in moisture within the layers of skin.

Aaand I’ll end off with a super excited photo of myself in Amsterdam, where I depended on Blend and Boost for my daily moisturizing routine since I didn’t wanna pack too many products.

All the above highlights my personal experience and opinions about Blend and Boost. If you are interested in trying it out, check out the clinics that offer it here.
