Casual Layers

Another casual look with light layers that works for warm and cold days. I’m personally a huge fan of layering so I try to implement it into most of my outfits, regardless of the weather. I wore a basic cotton turtleneck and threw on a thicker casual button up. You can wear almost any shirt you want because it’s a casual look. You can even throw on a light windbreaker. The quilted vest on top provides more detail to the outfit and adds another layer; and it doesn’t look too bad either. An alternative piece to wear over top of the shirt is a hooded sweater or a large grungy grandpa like sweater. For the pants, you can wear dark rinse jeans like I have here, or any other pair of pants that comes to mind. You can be very versatile since it is a casual look. Last but not least, a pair of desert boots work very well with casual outfits. Again, effortless yet stylish. You can also add more pop to your outfit with a patterned sock, which never fails to spice up your look. Overall, a very casual and effortless look that is comfortable and still stylish. Somewhat inspired from a Dries Van Noten look – but much less couture.
