Greek Yogurt Meets Mango and Avocado

Hey everyone!

So I’ve decided to start an additional part to my blog that focuses on food and memorable eats! I have to give huge credits to Julie Yeh, who really inspired me to make this happen! THANK YOU!

If you don’t know already, I love eating more than anything… and I’m fortunate enough to be able to try many foods in very different ways (Alhamdulillah!)

I thought it would be great idea to share what I eat and sometimes what I cook! I tend to eat fairly healthy (I’m not perfect though, I do eat my share of junk food) … But as you may already know, if the majority of your diet consists of good nutritious food, you can get away with enjoying some pleasure foods without too much backlash.

Anyhow, let’s get to today’s post!

Greek Yogurt Meets Mango and Avocado

I was blindsided by how amazing this tasted! The unlikely combination of fresh ingredients made this dip style yogurt taste amazing!

This was at Chobani yogurt in SOHO in New York! (152 Prince Street)

Upon returning to Toronto I recreated the recipe and it turned out just as great! It’s a very simple recipe with lots of nutrition.

Note: I tailored the recipe to the amount I usually eat… So feel free to reduce the values by half the amount (but seriously, you’ll probably want to eat all of it. Besides, it’s a great dip for sharing!)

-2 cups Greek yogurt

-1 mango, diced

-1 avocado, diced

-1/2 jalapeno, diced (I’m not good with spicy food)

-2 tsp olive oil

-pinch of sea salt

-1 portion of cilantro, diced

-1 tsp lime juice

Serve with blue corn tortilla chips, or your preferred corn chip.

So. Freaking. Good.

Hope you all enjoyed this! Eat well and stay positive!
