A Simple Way to Pack for your Next Road Trip

The most accessible, clean, and cool way to keep your toiletries organized while you travel. Tashtego makes it simple to pack like a pro – regardless of where you’re going.

I recently made the exciting move across Canada. I decided to do it by packing my car with my life possessions and driving from Toronto to Vancouver. It sounds a bit crazy – but it was the ultimate road trip and I absolutely loved it.

Now if you’re wondering why – well, I did this for two reasons. First one being an obvious one; that I would need the car to get around in Vancouver. Secondly, it was something that I have always wanted to do (the drive at least), but with everything Covid-19 related, there wasn’t much to do in downtown Toronto. And I thought there was no better time than now to give the west coast a try!

With everything packed away in my wagon, it was hard to get to some things that I had tucked away. I needed something that provided quick access to my essentials, which I would be using daily while on the road.

Once I came across the Tashtego pack, I immediately knew it would be a great fit for this grand adventure. The brand also strives to be carbon neutral, which means they offset all of the emissions from the manufacturing of the raw materials in their travel kits, the manufacturing of the travel kits themselves and all the distribution. It’s a compact and stylish pack that folds up – which ends up not taking up too much room (10″ folded – and 23″ when unpacked).

With the above in mind, there’s actually quite a bit of room for your stuff. It’s also worth noting that you can get pretty creative with how you want to pack your kit – which you can then attach to other peripherals because of the hook slots. Even though there are recommendations for the allocated slots, you can have fun with how you want to pack it, which is nice.

Beyond the functionality of the Tashtego kit – I really enjoyed how simple the design was. The kit was created with practicality and utility in mind – and it definitely achieves that (and pretty well I might add). It’ll be a nice companion for upcoming road trips and other adventures here on the west coast, which I’m looking forward to.

Overall – I think it’s a creative and unique product that can accompany any sort of adventure you have in mind. It’s a simple concept that is practical in many ways, and it looks great! One thing that would be nice to see is an addition of more colours and sizes perhaps (something that will come along in the future I imagine) – but for what it is right now, it’s the perfect travel kit for your next road trip.

The Tashtego kit was gifted. The review and all opinions in this article are mine. Thank you for reading.
