When New Balance launched the 247 sneaker a little while back (almost 2 years ago), I was genuinely excited about the new silhouette and style of the shoe. It was different – in a good way, because it maintained New Balance’s classic and casual feel, but it brought along a new a modern vibe. I was all about it.

And I still am.

New Balance has just released the 247 v2 not too long ago, and it’s quickly become one of my favourites. Besides their fun appearance, the sneaker is extremely comfortable, which is always a big bonus for me (New Balance never seems to disappoint when it comes to this aspect). Also, the sneaker pairs well with any look. The neon accents add the perfect pop of colour for summer – and beyond if you choose to carry them forward into other seasons. They come with a few choices for laces too (pink, orange, neon yellow, and of course the default black), so you can have lots of fun changing up the shoe’s appearance for various looks.

The new 247 for men takes inspiration from the v1 and pushes style even further. It offers a comfort and support in colors from bare to bold.

If you’re looking for a fun and unique shoe, then this pair of v2’s is a great starting point. They’ll stand out with any look you pair them with. Keeping them clean will take some effort, but if you get into a habit of giving them some quick TLC after use, you should be good!
